Home remodeling in the Lehigh Valley

We live in Easton, and most of our Lehigh Valley work is a short drive from home. Atlas Design & Build is a husband-and-wife design-build firm. We plan, design and build kitchens, bathrooms, basements and whole home renovations, and we manage every project ourselves from the first walkthrough to the final punch list.

Where we work

Towns we serve in the Lehigh Valley

Easton

From College Hill Victorians to rowhomes and twins in the West Ward and South Side, much of Easton's housing dates to the late 1800s and early 1900s. Our Easton work often starts with what is behind the walls: older plumbing, plaster and framing that needs to be brought up to date before new finishes go in.

Forks Township

Most Forks Township homes were built from the 1980s onward, along with a number of older farmhouses. Projects here usually focus on layout, storage and finishes rather than structural correction, with farmhouses as the exception.

Palmer Township

Palmer Township combines mid-century ranches and split-levels near Easton with newer subdivisions. Mid-century homes often benefit from opening the main floor, while newer homes are ready for custom finishes.

We also work in Williams Township and other nearby Lehigh Valley towns. Call us to confirm your address is within our service area.

Our approach

Why Lehigh Valley homeowners work with us

The owners on every project.

You work directly with the two of us. One leads design and selections, and the other runs construction, so decisions are made by the people doing the work.

Design and construction in one plan.

Layout, selections, permits and construction are planned together and priced in one written scope, so there is no hand-off between a designer and a builder.

Experience with older homes.

Much of the Lehigh Valley's housing predates 1978. We are EPA Lead Safe certified and plan for the conditions older homes bring before the budget is set.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Which Lehigh Valley towns do you work in?

We work regularly in Easton, Forks Township, Palmer Township and Williams Township, and in other nearby towns. If you are not sure whether your home is within our service area, call us and we will tell you.

Do you handle permits in the City of Easton and the surrounding townships?

Yes. The City of Easton and each township run their own permit process, and exterior work in Easton's historic districts can require additional review. We prepare the drawings, file the applications and schedule inspections.

Do you work on older homes?

Yes. Much of our Lehigh Valley work is in homes built before 1950. We assess plumbing, electrical, framing and moisture before design is finalized so the budget reflects the house as it is.

Do you still work in Bucks County and Montgomery County?

Yes. We continue to work across Bucks County and Montgomery County alongside our projects in the Lehigh Valley.
